Who am I ?

Because I am not the follower of a classical characterisation, I would like you to find out about the photographer and the man Mircea Marinescu by referring to YOU. Because that's what my photography is about, YOU. Be it a wedding, an event photo session or a family portrait session, because this is what has been filling my life for more than 10 years, I am the man behind the camera, whom you will get to know better.

Based in Romania , but eager to travel and document life stories around the world, I am always willing to meet new people and visit new places  with my camera aside.

My experiences in Luxembourg, Belgium, Spain, Greece, Montenegro and Bulgaria offered me the satisfaction to capture various moments of people’s life, giving a new perspective both from a cultural point of view and as a state of mind. 

Sometimes I like to stay aside, to observe and surprise moments you probably wouldn't expect to see. Other times I will be right in the middle of the dance floor, ”hunting” dynamic shots of the party. 

It's YOU I want to ”see” : real, authentic, sincere! Luckily, the wedding photography has been offering me this great pleasure all these years.

Human, creative approach

My wedding photography ”style” has been defined over the time. Each experience found its place and left a mark on the person and on the professional I have become today. I am curious, tenacious, perfectionist and always with an eye for details.

The creative approach is usually in my comfort area but sometimes I evade the comfort zone. I never stop exploring, I am in a constant search for the best angles and the best light. My creativity combines with my passion for photography, with my versatility and my capacity to adapt to any situation. I am in love with the sea, so don't be surprised if I am suggesting photo sessions on the seashore or even sailboat rides for really special shots.

When it comes to wedding photography I am an overachiever. I love entering wedding photography contests and winning various awards. But besides all the awards, the wedding photography is special to me, in all its ways. And that because by doing it, I get to know YOU and to be a part to your new beginning as a family.

I would say yes! I deeply appreciate you took the time to learn more about me and about what I do. I am sure that at our next meeting, either live at my studio, over a cup of coffee or on Skype or WhatsApp we will discover a lot of things in common, but also reasons to establish a beautiful collaboration.
